1. How can I contact the Merkuris team ?

You can use the contact form of the website or reach us by email at: info@merkuris.net.

2. How does Merkuris work ?

To use the MerKuris Mobile application you have to connect your smartphone to the Internet. MerKuris works with all type of connexion (Wifi, GPRS, ...).

3. What do I need to use Merkuris ?

You only need a smartphone with GPS (recommended, but not required) and with a Windows Mobile OS (we are working on a Java and on an Android version).

4. Do I need a particular smartphone ?

We successfully tested Merkuris with most of the recent (<1 year) smartphone with a Windows Mobile OS. If you encounter a compatibility problem with a smartphone, please post a message to info(at)merkuris.net with a detailed description of the smartphone. We will try to fix the problem as soon as possible and keep you aware.

5. Which operating system is needed to run Merkuris?

Merkuris has been tested on Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 . We are currently working on a Java and on an Anroid version which we hope we will deliver soon.

6. What about privacy ?

No personal information such as name, address, phone number and location is stored in our databases. View the Privacy Policy.

7. Does Merkuris know my phone number ?

No. There is strictely no link between Merkuris and your phone number.

8. Does anyone can see my location ?

No. Only friends you have invited can see your present location. For more privacy, use "invisible" status at anytime to hide your location.

9. Does Merkuris work with any operator and anywhere ?

Yes.

10. I found a bug and/or I want to send you some comments/suggestions.

No.

To recommend a friend to join Merkuris go to 'Invite Friends' in the Friends menu to import from your preferred address book.
